Have a question that isn’t listed? Contact me!

  • First, I offer a free 15 minute consultation prior to treatment to determine if I am the right fit for you and answer any questions that you may have. The consultation also allows for me to get to know you, why you are seeking therapy and what challenges you are facing. It is important for you to get the best treatment and ensure that I have the appropriate training for the therapeutic process. If we aren’t a right fit I’m happy to refer you to a therapist that may better suit your needs. One area where my training is limited is in eating disorders.

If we decide to move forward, I offer a sliding scale that I am happy to discuss with you personally.

  • I do not take insurance and am an out-of-network provider. If requested I am happy to provide a “superbill” for the services that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I can’t guarantee that you will be reimbursed from your provider, and the full fee is still required each session.

  • Currently individual sessions are solely offered online for convenience and accessibility.

Group counseling I am able to appear on site, dependent on the location of your facility.

  • Online counseling is similar to regular counseling just from the comfort of your own space. I use a HIPAA compliant platform that allows us to confidentially navigate our sessions.

Even though this service is online and “remote” I am only licensed in the state of California, therefore you must reside in California for me to legally perform counseling.

  • Counseling can vary significantly based on your needs and concerns. Some therapy may be brief, lasting a few sessions or a couple of months when addressing specific, well-defined issues. Typically therapy lasts a few months to a year to allow for effective implementation of coping strategies and integration into daily life. Other individuals find that longer-term, ongoing therapy beyond a year is beneficial for support and personal growth. This is a collaborative process that will be revisited to make sure that the frequency and duration is effective for you.

  • The first session is referred to as the “intake session” and is the foundation for our therapeutic relationship. We will talk about your background, relationships and relevant life events. Even though we may have discussed some of your specific concerns during the consultation phone call, we will revisit them, your goals, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. Where ever you are at in your journey know that it is okay, we will collaborate to ensure you feel heard, hopeful and motivated for the adventure.
